Choosing Your 1-Tier or 2-Tier Nappy Cake
A 1 or 2-tier Nappy Cake is a creative, beautiful way to give new parents everything they need to get started, without the hassle of trawling through shops. But with so many different designs available, how do you know which one to choose?
Here are a few things to consider when deciding:
- Design of the Cake – Nappie Cakes come in all sorts of designs, from traditional tiered cakes to more creative designs like nappy motorbikes or animals.
- Boy or Girl – We have designs in beautiful baby blue or sweet pink to suit little boys and girls – along with unisex designs for a gender-neutral birth, where everything is a surprise!

Size – The average newborn goes through 8-12 nappies a day for the first 6 weeks. Our Nappie Cakes are available in smaller 1-tier cakes to larger 2-tier designs – with our two-tier cakes being most popular.

Nappies – Our 1-tier design includes up to 20 newborn or 16 Huggies (size 5), while our 2-tier designs include up to 35 newborn or 25 Huggies (size 5). If you're not sure how many nappies the new parent will need, opt for a larger size. (Our Truck Nappie Cakes come with up to 86 nappies!)
